My name is Diana Pholo and I am passionate about research, teaching and data science.
In 2014, obtained a Masters in electronics from ÉCOLES
Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électronique et Électrotechnique (ESIEE) and a Masters in Intelligent Industrial Systems from TUT.
I am currently working on getting a PhD while working as a
part-time data scientist at Predictive Insights.
I am also a full-time Chief-Mom-Officer.
Session Description
Creating a Trustworthy and Accountable AI Process Using the AI Ladder

This workshop introduces participants to IBM's AI Ladder framework, emphasising ethical AI practices. Participants will explore each AI Ladder step—Collect, Organise, Analyse, and Infuse—learning the basics of how to build a robust, trustworthy AI pipeline. The workshop combines brief lectures with hands-on activities using ChatGPT, including exercises in data collection brainstorming, data cataloging, bias detection, and operationalising AI. By the end, participants should understand actionable strategies to implement responsible AI processes, ensuring their models are fair, explainable, and aligned with business goals.
